Music

At St Matthew's, we follow the Charanga music program with Oldham Music Service. In Year 4, the children learn how to use wood wind instruments, led by a member of the Oldham Music Service.

 

 

The National Curriculum for Music aims to ensure that all pupils: 

  • Perform, listen to, review and evaluate music 
  • Be taught to sing, create and compose music 
  • Understand and explore how music is created, produced and communicated.
